Featuring: The Write Stuff – Finding Air Time as an Aviation Journalist
Speaker: James Wynbrandt
You read the aviation magazines and are fascinated by the pilot reports, the travelogues, and the profiles of fascinating personalities. Maybe you also wonder whats involved in capturing those stories – getting the assignments, getting all the elements in place, and then writing about the subject in a way that captivates readers. James Wynbrandt, a pilot who lives in New York City and has written for many leading aviation magazines, knows. His assignments have taken him and his airplane from his home base at New Jerseys Caldwell Airport as far as Alaska and the south end of the Caribbean Chain, as well as into the left seat of dozens of different airplanes. In his presentation James will revisit some of his adventures and tell the behind the scenes story of the work that goes hand in hand with them.
