Formed in 1957, the Mid-Atlantic Pilots Association, is a non-profit flying organization dedicated to air safety, aviation education and flying comaraderie. All levels of pilots, student pilots and aviation enthusiasts are invited to join our organization.

Monthly Dinner Meeting:

MAPA has a monthly dinner meeting held on the second Thursday of each month. We also arrange to have a speaker after dinner to discuss an aviation related topics. Our after dinner programs have covered a verity of topics including aviation safety, flying adventures, weather and many others.

Members and guests start to arrive about 6:30 at Vitale’s Restaurant in Teaneck, NJ and meet in the private room or in the bar. Dinner starts at 7:00 and the program starts at 8:00pm. We normally finish around 9:00 or 9:30 with our 50/50 drawing.

Monthly Fly-out:

Our monthly fly-out is also a meeting since we fly to an airport and meet for lunch. This meeting / fly-out is always held on the Saturday following the Dinner meeting.

Our August fly-out is our annual picnic that is held at Andover Aero flex airport in NJ and the club pays for the food for this event as well as our October Fall Foliage Flyout Brunch.

Monthly Board meeting:

The MAPA Board meets once a month to discuss club topics. We encourage members to attend and participate in the decision making for the club. This meeting is currently held on Tuesday the week before the dinner meeting. The current location is 11 Cleveland Pl, Springfield, NJ 07081. Side door entrance up to second floor.
